Events in London The Lord Mayors Thames Festival London Saturday 13th and Sunday 14th September 12noon until 10pm Now in its tenth year, this year’s two-day riverside celebration will boast a wonderful array of different events including street theatre, massed choirs, open air arts, concerts on a floating boat, illuminations, world food stalls and a spectacular night carnival ending with a brilliant firework display. Firework details; When: Sunday 14th September Time: 9.45pm Where: Blackfriars Bridge, Middle of the river by the Oxo Tower, On the River Thames This year, the display will be designed and delivered by Paine’s Fireworks. It is always a breathtaking event and this year Paine’s are promising to deliver a special “Catalan sting in the finale”. The fireworks are scheduled to fire from two barges positioned mid-stream in the River Thames between Waterloo and Blackfriars Bridges. There is good viewing from Victoria Embankment and the two bridges. Stealth Fireworks are planning on coming up for this fantastic event.
